Union Polymer - Research & Development

Union Polymer's on-site R&D department enables us to meet the increasing industry demands for innovation and ensure quality improvement. Our engineers work closely with customers to design and develop customized solutions to meet spcific needs within a quick turn-around time frame.

Over the past decade, we have designed, developed and manufactured over fifty customized products to meet customers' specific needs.

Union Polymer's R&D department includes:

- Compounding Center, led by talented engineers with an extensive knowledge and experience on polymer materials

- Adhesive Center, formulates the right adhesive for a variety of dual wall tubing and other components

- Testing Center, Provides high quality control for heat shrink components and cable accessories of different voltage applications (up to 36kV)

Union Polymer is also equipped with an on-site 90 kW (3 Mega-volt x 30mA) E-beam accelerator for radiation crosslink, ensuring quality control and facilitating new/customized product development.
